Sawyer, Sawyer, Sawyer....

Can I just say that being this little boys Momma is SO gratifying.
It is one of the most amazing things in this world.
Here are a few things I've learned about being a Momma these past few months.

Sleeping is such a precious thing and one I've always taken for granted. But, being able to snuggle up with my little one, hearing him breathe and smelling his sweet baby smell, is so much better.

Bottles... I'm positive I've cleaned more than a billion thousand bottles since he's been on this earth.

Diapers and formula aren't as detrimental to our wallet as I thought they'd be. But, my obsessive baby shopping compulsion is. I can't leave any store with at least one item for Sawyer in the cart.

Latching and unlatching his carseat into and out of the carseat base in the car has become my least favorite job (alongside bottle cleaning duty).

Blake refuses to change poopy diapers.  He runs like it is the plague. I, on the other hand, got blessed with the fact that unless my nose is buried in the diaper, can barely smell a thing.
Outdoor activities have become much funner(spelling?) with a baby. ie: dog walks, running, Sunday drives, eating out, etc.  I'm excited for when the little dude gets what is going on and can laugh alongside Blake and I.

I'm pro at rocking/singing my baby to sleep. I feel like I was literally born for this task. The hard part is putting him in his crib to let him sleep and missing out on massive snuggle time.

If I had it my way, nothing would ever get done except bum changes, belly's fed, and snuggling.  Perfect world.

In any occasion where holding Baby S or holding Baby S in his carseat, I trump Blake. That man couldn't hold him longer than 5 minutes without needing a 60 minute deep tissue massage.

A part of my heart breaks every morning when Blake gets up, gives us both kisses goodbye, and leaves for his 8 hour work day.  What I wouldn't give for us to both be able to be stay at home parents. Once again, my perfect world.

Baths are easily top favorites.

And although I am very grateful my Lil' Boomba is successfully sleeping 6 hours each night, I need to find a way to fall back asleep after that 6 hour feeding because being up at 4 is nothing short of inconvenient.

I love the many similarities between my child and my Husband.

Sawyers cute baby sneezes are adorable.

And last but not least, I will never fail to marvel at the fact that my heart melts a little every time Sawyer is sweet enough to give me one of his face eating smiles. (which is quite often).

I just love this child and being his little Momma.

Until next time

I have a new baby
yupp... baby.
It's 27 inches
LED
Plays my favorite shows
and...  multiple webpages
and.. downloads apps
and... streams music
and... uploads 1,200 photos
and... sooo much moorrreee
....
all.at.once
and I can even do my online homework in a good mood.
[[i guess that's a plus]]

BEST BABY I'VE EVER HAD
i adore my Mac
My sweet sweet Husband spoiled me and took me to Best Buy
yesterday and surprised me with an iMac
it's gorgeous and i'm amazed. I've been wanting one for a
loooonnnngggg time now, I sold my scooter last year in exchange for
one, but that fell threw and I ended up not getting one. As soon as
school started this semester I think Blake started getting
frustrated when I didn't stop complaining about my slow laptop with
a busted battery. I used my online classes as an excuse for my
need for a new computer.... He 'fell' for it, and now I'm rollin' with a new baby.
**wink, wink**

I haven't spent to much time with it though, only because I've been spending time with my love, building muscle... Yeah that's right, muscle.  My Mom gave Blake and I a bedroom set and we spent most of yesterday bringing it all upstairs into our room. I have family coming down to visit on the 11th and so we needed to get living conditions in order. While Blake was at work I moved our queen size bedroom set into the guest room and when he got home we moved our new king size set into our room. It's beautiful! Our room looks like a completely different place! While we were up North we bought a new bed set from IKEA and we put all of it together last night, it's gray, white and a touch of color... It's coming along quite nicely. I love coming home after a long day of work and relaxing in my new room with my Hubby. It's slowly becoming my sanctuary, my place of harbor.

This morning after getting ready I ran over to the bank and helped Blake clean because he was having inspections done today. That was at 4. I then had work at 6 and luckily I got off at 12 because work was pretty slow. I came home, sauntered upstairs and found Blake taking a nap. I curled up beside my best friend and took one of the best naps of my life. I was woken up 3 hours later and Blake took me to the doctors office, got some medicine to get rid of my stomach bug , dinner at Wingers; complete with Concrete Pie, and then to Sportsmans to get some feathers for my jewelry. Now here we are retreated to our sanctuary. [[he let me slip away to write a post and order some things for my store while he watches Jazz game lol]] It's nice being here. In my home, in my room, with Blake... My family, OUR family. and so for now, i'm going to turn off my new baby and go spend time with MY best friend.

Stay tuned for my update of all updates. It's about time I caught up on these past couple of months! I have lots of pictures!

*stay tuned*
i promise to post super soon

Should be, but am not...

You know, I should be type my 6-8 page English paper on early onset Alzheimer's that is due tomorrow at approximately 10:30 but... I am not. I can't. You see, my mind is floating everywhere but here, in the library, where it is supposed to be, typing my research paper. I feel like I already put my time in for school today, I mean 2 Spanish tests and class is way to much work time, especially since it is my day off from work. But alas, it is not my day of from school, or life for that matter. So I am going to stop dilly dallying and I'm going to start on my paper. Hopefully. So, wish me luck... I have one loooonnnnggg, unprepared but totally deserving night ahead of me. Thank goodness my Husband doesn't mind wasting time beside me. *sigh* I'm to lucky!

-Kat

P.s. I'm going to Orem in just a few weeks!!

If you can stick, you can spe...

I finished my spe logs! I was really nervous to do spes at first but they ended up being totally easy! It didn't take long for me to finish them either. Was my face flushed when I did my first spe? Heck ya it was. Did my hands tremble a little? Of course. Did my spe draw come out successful? 100 percent!

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my job?!
Yeah, sometimes my feet ache after an 8 hour shift and sometimes my back does as well.
Yeah, sometimes I get frustrated and badly want to clock out and try again the next day.
Yeah, I uber miss my hubby and would so rather be fishing and goofing off.
and Yeah sometimes I do think about how great it would be to just have to go to school...
but oh how I love my job!
how I find pride in my job!
how  grateful I am for my job!

"where do you work?"
"Biolife **GRIN**"
Successss

My next set of logs will be either advanced or sample prep but I won't be getting those for awhile. Which is OK with me because I have to focus a little more of my time on school and my midterm English test coming up soon *sssiiggghhh*

School is still going well, I got an A on my English paper that I worked pretty hard on, can someone say gratification? It got me excited and pretty hopeful that maybe, just maybe, I can pass this midterm coming up. I took a Spanish test today, fingers crossed I did well. And I successfully threw 2 bowls last night in ceramics. They actually don't look that bad (which isn't something I can say about my cups, blah). I go in tonight to get some help on my Math... WISH ME LUCK!

On Monday I surprisingly had the day off, I switched shifts with a coworker that I forgot about. So what better thing to do then pack up your swimming suit and hit up Vegas where your parents are just so happening to be staying for the week?? That's just what The Hubby and I did! It was such a fun and relaxing day! We swam in a saline pool, completely different then what I expected. We ate a buffet (of course). And then we spent the rest of the day "catching up" and enjoying each others company. Any time I can take with my family I'll jump at. But of course I think we all know that by now!

A couple weekends ago Blake and I went up North for the weekend and we stayed at my sisters and my grandparents house. Mick, Mands, Allan, Blake, and I hit up a few haunted houses, which was greatly enjoyed! My precious little nephew Emery was blessed. And my cousin Mike got married. Congrats Mike and Brittany!! As always time well spent. Can't wait to go back for Christmas!

Also on Saturday my friend from work Jodi and her Hubby Jesse cam over and we had a great night watching the Halloween town series, carving pumpkins and eating pizza. I should have gotten pictures but the thought didn't even cross my mind. Oh well, next time! Thanks guys for coming over! We had a great time!

That's about all I've got so far. Hopefully this upcoming week will bring some fun adventures!

Enjoy your week!

Just an update....

I figured since it's been awhile since my last post and I finished my Lib homework early I would post a quick update. Sorry peeps, no pictures this time around.

First off... I'm finally in school! And even though it's amazingly stressful and exhausting, I'm loving every minute of it. The 20 credits I'm enrolled in consist of Math, Spanish, English, Ceramics, Photography, Lib, and Co-op. Monday-Thursday are crazy hectic days, spent with lots of school, work, school again, and then homework. Somehow between the 20 credits at school and my 38+ hours at work I'm making it out alive and well. While also maintaining a B average which is good enough for me! My favorite class so far is Ceramics, not because I am good at it, but because I'm taking it with my best friend Blake, my bro Marc, and his girly (my friend) Brenna! It's kind of my "break" class where I can just relax and not worry to much. My least favorite class is Lib. I find I'm not very good at motivating myself to get online and just do it. But I'm slowly learning to be responsible.

Work is also going really good. I feel like everyday I learn something new. Something that makes me feel good about my job and the things I am doing there. My coworkers and managers/supervisors are all awesome. It is such a fun a job. The best part about it is even when the center is unbelievably busy and slammed and I feel like I'm going to explode from work, my awesome coworkers always pull through and manage to make me laugh. Oh and the donors are all pretty great. I've spent the past month working on sticking donors and reactions, and I'd like to think I'm pretty good at them (though I do have my moments). I feel like I've come a long way from my first stick when I spent 20 minutes crying in the break room. I have confidence in myself that when I stick a donor I'll do a good job. I just passed off my reactions yesterday and I start on my spes tomorrow, wish me luck! (I know, all of this is jibberish to you but I'm writing it anyways). I love getting new logs. I feel like there is so much room to grow and improve in my job which is one of the reasons why I like it so much.

My Mondays and Thursdays normally consist of school from 8-12, work from 12-8, then school again from 8-10:30, and then homework from 10:30-midnight. Lather, rinse, repeat. Then I spend the weekends catching up and normally studying for tests, and then a little fun time doing something with Blake.

I'm so thankful for my wonderful job and I'm so thankful that I'm able to go to school full time and work full time. I feel blessed to have the energy to go about my days and not get overly stressed. I know that my hard work now will pay off in the future.

Other then school and work Blake and I have kind of been hanging out in the down low. We recently bought a Honda Metropolitan Scooter, a.k.a. My Little Miss Metropolli and I love it! Although the timing with the weather is a little upsetting. We've almost 500 miles on it and have only spent $16.00 worth of gas. It's amazing!

Maylee:
Our May Bear is getting big bigger! and her energy levels have seize to lower. I honestly believe she'll forever be a crazy
and playful pup.
Some funny things she's been doing lately:
Blake will tell her to kennel up and she just drops to the floor and goes limp as soon as you drop your guard she'll sprint the opposite direction.
She's learned how to successfully open our patio door.
She doesn't understand the meaning of down.
She only eats her food if Blake is standing right beside her.
Whenever Blake goes fishing she makes it a point to stand between his legs.
She's not very good at staying on a kayak.
She's very skilled at taking dumps in the back of Blakes' truck while we're driving... on the freeway.
She's just an all around playful 9 month old pup.

Foxie:
She's still my little cuddle bug
She's as serious as pups come.
When you get mad at her, she slicks her ears back waits for you to look away and then bolts upstairs and hides for hours.
She.holds.grudges.
She's not afraid to leap into my arms from 10 steps up.
She's turned into May's chew toy.
Every morning she makes it a point to sit on the toilet while I get ready for work.
She can kennel up like a pro.
She turns two on Thanksgiving. So weird.
(I wonder how weird it will be when we actually have kids and they turn two).

Blake and I are going up North tomorrow and I seriously can't wait! Hopefully will hit up lots of haunted houses and get some much needed family time!

That's about all that's going on with us lately. Although life seems pretty hustle and bustle now, I'm so grateful to have Blake to help me slow and take care of me. Lately he's been doing an awesome job at bringing me breakfast before school and making sure I get dinner in my tummy before bedtime. He wipes my tears when my days seem to overwhelming and he knows exactly how to calm my nerves and settle raging seas in my life.

We might be taking it day by day, but we're taking it day by day together.

Sleep well my friends and I hope to post again soon

Forever & Always

Blake and I went to Las Vegas a little while back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.
We only went for a night but I enjoyed every minute of it.
We stayed at the Excalibur Hotel

I Hope You Know How Much I Love You

"Do your best, and learn to be content. Be good and keep the Spirit. Be nice and choose happiness when things are hard. Don't worry, God loves you, and he is near. Keep your eternal perspective." -John Bytheway

The other day I was feeling a little unmotivated so I went out, bought a journal and the book I Hope You Know How Much I Love You, curled up in some jamies and got to reading and writing.
I read and wrote all through the night and these are a few things I learned or enjoyed...

Where has all the time gone?!

Oh I know... Biolife. It's now day four since I started my job. Today I work 11:00 to 8:00 so I thought I stop by and chat. I've been going in at 7am and staying until 3:30pm the past few days training. Training is rough guys. I'm talking 1,000+ page SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) books to read. When you first start they give you a packet with a HUGE list of SOP's that need to be read. About 25 SOP's on each page and 14 pages,  each SOP can range anywhere from 2-35 pages long. Haha the funny thing is you read all this stuff and you have absolutely NO idea what you're reading.

Did someone say Menchies??

Blake had his last ward basketball game Friday night. They had made it all the way to the championship game and lost by six points. He was kind of bummed when he got home so we decided to go out to eat and spend some time together.
We originally planned on trying out some Panama Grill but I couldn't find the coupon so we hit up Iggys instead.
It as awesome, we walked in to see the Jazz vs. Lakers game which just so happened to be the same place and same game playing when we  went on our first date :) (we'll I guess it's technically the second date because it was the day after our first date. but whatever lol)
I had a BLT and Blake got a pulled pork sandwich. We were both verrryy disappointed in the food, no where near as good as the Iggy's up north. But we still had a good time with some laughs.

Last night I picked up my new friend Jessica and we went to our ward Relief Society 150th Birthday party. There was a light dinner, some delicious cupcakes and then a wonderful talk on Relief Societys' Past, Present and Future.

Maylee Baby Thompson

If you don't already know, Blake and I got a puppy!
Her name is Maylee Thompson, She's six weeks old, she's a pure breed Golden Retriever and she already has our hearts
We've had her now for four days and she's such a big part of our growing family!
This is our little girly after her first bath, hence the black tips on her ears lol

Blake and I found an ad on the internet and we decided to go and just look but while we were there we fell in love and had to get one! We got extremely lucky and they gave us a price we just couldn't say no to. Blakes wanted a Golden Retriever since Sadie passed away a couple years back, and we knew we were gonna end up with one eventually so we took the deal and ran with it! And now we have Maylee!

Foxie's been pretty sad since she came here, she had to leave her best friend, little Paco, up North with Mick. We thought little Maylee would be a great little friend for the Fox and so faaaaarrrr... let's just say we'll see lol.
Foxie tolerates Maylee and will play with her occasionally but Maylee likes to play, be rough and annoy and Foxie likes to snuggle, relax, and be solo.
But when she does play with Maylee it is soooo so so cute!
Were hoping Foxie learns to love Maylee just as much as she did Paco but we'll just have to see. She sure does a good job checking up on her when she whines though lol.

As for our family... They're all smitten! Marc comes over just to play with her haha I can't wait to take her up north to see my family, I'm sure they'll love her just as much!

Wanna hear even better news?! Potty training is coming along perfectly! As long as there is a clean potty pad laid out for her to use... She'll use it! Sublime!

Here our some pictures of our little beauty!
Isn't that little puppy face darling?? I sure think so!

She loves sleeping in any type of tight little crevasse I love it!
This is one of my favorite pictures! Maylee just got out of the bath and I left the puppy brush upstairs so I had Blake hold her while I went and got it and when I came back downstairs they were both sleeping! I loved it!

Anyways, that's all the pictures I have for now! But expect to see more!

Love,
The Thompson Family!

Blessings: 02-04

Goodness sakes! How time flies!!
Friday and Saturday I was lucky to not have any work. I spent a majority of both days at home and worked on some arts and crafts.
Our nursery class has a bin of toys, which is great but the only downfall is, the toys are lammeee....
So I'm putting together a bin for the kiddos. This past weekend I spent most of my time making felt food! and let me tell ya... it's turning out sooo well. I have made, doughnuts, carrots, broccoli, chips, goldfish, cookies, turkey legs, etc. I'm having so much fun putting them all together! and I can't wait to put them in the bin and take them to church! The bin so far has aprons, hot pads, hot wheels, mats, sippy cups, pillows, and a plastic tea set. I figure, hey 2 hours to fill, why not get creative?! haha. I hope it goes well next week!

Anyways, this past weekend I was grateful for my sewing machine! I've only had it for a month but I already love it so much! I could spend hours on end sewing and crafting!

Today I am grateful for my nursery class. Watching them grow and adapt with each other has been awesome! Listening to them talk and giggle is great! Although the class definitely makes me baby hungry I still enjoy it! I've learned so much with these little kids and I can't wait for all the Sundays to come :) Very grateful for this wonderful blessing!

Don't forget about all your wonderful blessings and have a great Sunday! I'm off to take some pictures!

Blessings

Lately I have been so, Go. Go. Go. that I haven't really spent any time to enjoy my blessings, days or think.
I always seem to worry about things that seem so important then and there
but when I take a step back and look at the big picture those big, important tasks are really just small daily doings. Like::
where do i need to be next?
what bills have been paid?
which ones need to be paid?
and how much money is left for savings?
when am i going to sit down and plan the nursery lesson?
what needs to be cleaned now?
what am i going to do with the kids tomorrow?
is there gas in the car?
how many loads of laundry can i get done in 30 minutes?
when was the last time i went to the gym?
have i told Blake i loved him lately?
what was the last meal i ate?
etc, etc, etc.
I get so caught up and stressed out about all the little things that I forget about the truly important things in my life that really need my attention. I start to think about all the things I need to get done and all the things I don't have time for that I get stressed to the point of breaking down.
Today was one of those days, just busy busy and I felt like I would never get any task done. big or small. I was lucky enough to get off work 2 and a half hours early. So instead of working until 11 I got off at 8:30. On my drive home my mind was running 100 words per second of everything i could get done before bedtime. But when I opened the door I was surprised to see Blake had cleaned up the family room and kitchen. Talk about heart swell
As i sat down on the couch to enjoy a few moments with my Mr. Thompson my thoughts instantly switched from 'everything i could get done' to all the blessings in my life.
Blessings I have taken for granted the past couple of weeks.
So, as a late New Year resolution I have added to my list
Counting my Blessings
every day I'm going to take at least a few moments out of my day to recognize and appreciate a blessing in my life. My life is a gift, not a chore or a to do list. It's something to be cherished and not stressed. Some days I'll post my blessing and some days I won't. But for the most part I'll try to get something posted.

Today I am blessed for my Husband. he's definitely stood strong for me the past couple weeks. Last week was reaaallllyyy stressful for me and he knew exactly how to cheer me up. I'm grateful the Lord has sent him to me and I'm especially grateful for my in-laws for raising such an amazing man! Scott, Lynell... You're amazing.
Blake... I love you! You are the best Husband a girl could ask for!

Well, hope you all had a great day! Please, don't forget about the wonderful blessings the Lord has given you. No matter how hectic your life may seem, there are always wonderful blessings right around the corner!!
**Goodnight!**

Mrs. Thompson!

Dear Today;
Thank you so much for not letting me down.
the past couple of weeks have gotten to me and lately i have been feeling exhausted.
leaving my house a mess & me grumpy.
so much to do, so little time.
that's how i've been feeling every day lately.
But not today!
i woke up & stood strong
told myself, "self, lets make today count."
& i have!
It's only 2 o'clock & i still have so much more time ahead of me.
You've helped me be productive...
four loads of laundry washed
three loads of dishes done!
one swept and mopped kitchen floor
three loads of laundry folded
one family room vacuumed and shining
eight cupboards organized
ALL christmas decorations down and out
(minus lights outside but that's Blake's job lol)
one set of clean & crisp linens on the bed
deposited checks & paid bills
& one wonderful pot roast cooking in the crock pot preparing to be eaten.

now day....
there's still 8-9 hours left in you.
& there's still 15-20 tasks on my list:

clean the bathroom
organize my closet
finish the laundry
straighten up craft room
enjoy dinner with my hard working Husband
clean out the car
clean out the garage
sew something special
play cards with blake
pick up a prize
drop off the prize
hang up clothes
fold the rest of the clothes
etc, etc, etc...

so keep up the good work & keep me motivated.
my next day 'off' isn't until Sunday & even then there will be no cleaning done.
so lets get it all done now, today.
and be proud of ourself when bed time rolls around.
keep not letting me down & i'll continue to be a happy camper!
xoxo
much appreciation & love:
Mrs. Thompson

Merry Christmas!

Or should I say Merry Christmas Eve??
Oh I am so excited for Christmas this year! I got Blake some awesome presents, can't wait to see his face! This is our first Christmas being spent in our house so it's definitely something to remember :) I'll post some pictures tomorrow or... maybe Monday.

Tonight we are going over to Scott and Lynells to enjoy some yummy food and some great family time! Blake and I are in charge of desert so I decided I would try my hand and pie making. You see my Mom and my Grandma make some greeeeeeeeat pies! Pumpkin pie, Triple Berry pie, Apple pie, Banana Creme pie, you name it and they will conjure up a pie that tops most (Now I understand that my opinion might be a little bit biased but seriously... they make some darn good pies!!) So, I thought since I normally always make cookies or something cliche like that I'd make an Apple pie! So far, So good! I made the crust, peeled and sliced the apples, put them in the crust, covered, annnnnnd baked! It's amazing when you can turn these...
 Into something like this...

All we have to do now is wait until tonight to see how it tastes! Wish me luck!

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful and Merry Christmas! And a Happy New Year!! Don't forget the meaning behind Christmas. Please take a moment out of your day to thank the Lord for all of your wonderful blessings He is the reason for this great Holiday

Day 13-30! Beat that! haha

Day 13 — a picture of somewhere you've been to

This picture was taken in California at the Coronado Beach. Such a pretty place I wouldn't mind living there!

  • **a letter to someone who has hurt you recently**
Dear You.know.who.you.are,
You most likely don't read my blog which is understandable. So writing some long drawn out letter to you would be pretty pointless. So all I'm going to say our a few things. First, I forgive you. It has taken me a long time to become the person I am today. Before I don't think I would have ever been able to say that, but I have a strong Husband and a very supporting family.  They have taught me that I need to forgive 70x7. Second, It's sad to say but my life is much more bright and happier without your dark shadow hovering above me. Third,  I will always be there for you if you need me. But for now to spare me and my Husband any more heartache I will be distancing myself from you until you have the decency to treat me and my loved ones with respect. Lastly, I love you and I always will. You hold a very important part in my heart and I am grateful for all the happy moments we have been able to share. I hope you watch after yourself and take care. Be safe and know that you are loved by me. You are always in my prayers.
Love,
Kathy

Day 14 — what I would find in your bag
My planner, my cell phone, LOTS of change, spare dollars, receipts, receipts, receipts, silica  beads :s, random papers, gum, gum, chapstick and my camera. Lots I know!

Day 15 — Your favorite song
Currently my favorite song is Lead Me by Sanctus Real or Everything you do :)

Day 16 — A song that makes you cry (or nearly)

You Wouldn't Cry (Andrews Song) by Mandisa. A recent lady in my ward just lost her baby. I bought this song to and gave it to her. Every time I listen to this song I bawl my heart out and my heart swells. I'm so grateful to know there is a life after this. Pure happiness.
    • **songs you listen to when you are happy, sad, bored, hyped, mad**
Oh dear... There are SO many songs that I listen to! I seriously cannot answer this question because of all 13,000 songs I have a majority of them can fit under this question so I'm gonna have to play the pass card... Sssssoooorrrryyyy!

1: Blame It On The Rain by He Is We

    Day 18 — plans/dreams/goals you have
-My Number one goal right now is to get sealed to my Husband for time and all eternity. Roughly 112 more days! Every morning I wake up and thats the first thing to go throw my mind. I will be blissfully happy on that day!
-Go to college and get a degree in photography and childhood education
-Be some sorts of good at my job(s) lol
-Eventually buy a house, just a little one (where the walls can be painted lol)
    -Have a little family
-Watch my children grow up, with Blake by my side and make sure my children outgrow me!
-Always stand strong in the gospel

Day 19 — nicknames you have and why you have them
    Oh wow! um..
Katanga: My Dad has called me that for I don't know how long. I love it.
Sister Sue and Lieutenant Kathy Bigger and most recent Love Button: My Mom calls me that :)
Flaka: My Mom Reynas side of the family calls me that because I'm skinny.
Kak: My sisters call me that
    Krack: Heh, clueless there
Cornstalk: Tim used to call me that cause I guess it's cool lol
Babe: Blake calls me that because I'm his babe. Nuff Said! lol

Day 20 — another picture of yourself

    Day 21 — A recipe
Anything that comes out of a book works pretty great! lol I'm still no master at cooking :s although I am learning slowly with my cooking book that Gran gave me. When I master a recipe, I'll put it up! How's that sound??
    • **Something you're proud of in the past few days**
Ok ok this is going to sound SOO lame but lately Blake and I have been going to work around 5:30 am  instead of 10:00 pm and it is a huge deal to me! The past couple months I haven't had work until later in the day so I usually got up around 9-10ish so waking up a whole 4-5 hours earlier kind of makes me happy. I spend the rest of the day full of energy and I'm actually tired when I go to bed rather then my usual tossing and turning, restless nights. I see a good tradition taking place right about now. Lets hope it stays this way huh?!

      Day 22 — A website
http://stgeorge.craigslist.org/ Yeah it's technically my homepage. I check craigslist all the time. Especially the free section! I've gotten some awesome stuff from that site my tables in my craft room, my blue dressers, my rocking chair, my papasan chairs, and quite a bit more. It's nice being able to decorate my house for little to practically nothing and still love the turn out! Hopefully the good finds don't end there!

      Day 23 — A YouTube video
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJF0cuYbYyI
Hahahahahaha!! Okay! can I just tell you how much I LOVE these commercials!? Soooo Great! You want to know why I like them so much? Because A: they are hilarious! and B:
Nuff said! Ok, you might not be able to see it in this picture but I have a million other ones like these. He's always in the corner of some picture or in the background with a sasquatch look. What can I say?... he has my heart! haha
      • **what makes you different from everyone else**
Oh... hmm... I guess what makes me most different from everyone else is mostly the fact that I was the lucky gal that got Blake Thompson. So that means I have something special that stands above the rest! right?! lol Other then that I'm not sure what else makes me different. Maybe just the fact that I'm EXTREMELY lucky! and truly blessed! I got a great family on BOTH sides and I can honestly say No One has family quite like mine! it makes me unique *BIG.GRIN!* Family... You guys keep doin what ya doin! Makin me look good ;)

Day 24 — something you crave for a lot

mmmm... Frosted Flakes, it's an addiction! Along that line any kind of fruit, and juice. I'm a sucker for juice.
        • **why are you doing this 30 day challenge**
Well I originally started this challenge to try and pick up the habit of blogging consistently which turned into an epic fail so now I'm just finishing it up so I can say to myself that I at least accomplished it! I guess that's ok with me.

Day 25 — Your day, in great detail
Um... well today wasn't very eventful. Seriously. I woke up around 5:45 went to the bank with Blake and cleaned. Came home and spent some hours cuddling with Blake then said goodbye to him so he could go to his doctors appointment. While he was gone I did some decorating while I watched a Christmas show. Did some cleaning, did some dishes, did some laundry, etc. Got ready for my day. Talked to some friends from high school which was great. Watched Haley and Ali for a couple of hours, talked to Blake on the phone, did some online Christmas shopping for him. Gave our very lively tree some water, now I am blogging and then it will be bed. perfect.

Day 26 — Your week, in great detail.
          eek! I don't even remember!
29: Drove home from Orem and loved saying Hello to my Husband! Spent some time with him.
30: Woke up at 5:30 went to the bank and cleaned, came home, cleaned, decorated!
1: Woke up at 5:30 went to the bank and cleaned, went home and relaxed, went to work at Pelican Hills cleaning, Blake picked me up and surprised me with some delicious Hot Chocolate, we went and got our tree, got stuck, got unstuck x3, went and bought decorations, got home and spent the night decorating our tree together while we listened to wonderful Christmas music!
2: Woke up at 5:30 went to the bank and cleaned, worked on a gift for a baby shower, went to work nannying, came home and worked on the gift some more, cleaned, and hung out with Blake.
3: Woke up at 5:30 went to the bank and cleaned, hung out with Blake, baby sat, the end.
4: Woke up at 5:30 went to the bank and cleaned, came home, worked on the gift some more, wrapped it, got ready and headed to a friends baby shower (which was greatly enjoyed), hung out with Holly, babysat, went to the Dickens festival with Blake, went home, relaxed, movie, bed.
5: Woke up, went to church, came home, rested with the husband!
6: Today was stated above, no need to repeat myself.
I'm sure I skipped SO much but oh well

Day 27 — This month, in great detail
          nope... not gonna happen. Sorry.

Day 28 — This year, in great detail
          nope... not gonna happen. Sorry.
I'll make a separate post about that later.

Day 29 — Hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days
Get sealed! Hopefully buy a house, get my fox back, start school, get a raise, visit family :) and be happy!

Day 30 — in this past month, what have you learned
Oh man, I have learned SO much in the past month. I have learned a lot of patience. My Husband will always love me no matter how rude, short tempered, emotional and unfair I am being. I have learned to be extremely grateful for Blakes patience for me. As long as I am grateful for what I have I'll be truly happy. Curbs are not nice when you run into them :s My family is a true blessing all of them, I've learned that the Lord has blessed me with great sister in laws, Clenece, Thank you! You have no idea how much I appreciated having that talk with you!!! The saying "Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise" is true! Who would have thought?? Nursery is a blast but it sure wears you out. Going to bed with a heater on makes me wake up with a really really sore throat. $10 awesome winter boots on black friday make my feet happy! Christmas music is the best! breakfast is great any time of day. And good friends will always be there. (Thank you Becky and Holly, you two are awesome and I'm glad to have met you and have the opportunity to get to know you both so well!) No matter how sad I am Blake is always there to pick up my pieces and make me happy again. Prayer never fails. The Lord will never quit on me.

Well! I did it! and if you made it all the way to the end... I salute you! Now I seriously need some good shut eye!! Will post again soon!! Good night!

          Xoxo ALWAYS:: Mrs. Thompson!!
