My Lil Boombas: Blake and I went camping!

[be prepared guys, there are A LOT of pictures!]

Blake and I went to Pinevalley on Wednesday. It was great fun being able to camp again. Sadly we only stayed one night but it was still a great trip! We packed up the truck with plenty of wood!, got a cooler filled with food and drinks and then we picked up some doughnuts and hit the road!

We planned on coming home early Thursday morning but we ended up staying until late Thursday afternoon. The plan was to originally stay at Baker but when we got there we decided the place looked like it came straight out of a horror movie so we headed to, a more comfortable, Pinevalley!

Once there we searched for a campsite and once we found the perfect one we set up camp! First we started with the fire, then we put up the tent,

When we go camping we mean business haha This is only HALF of the stuff we brought haha

once the tent was up I went inside to get our sleeping quarters ready and blake started on our tin foil din dins!

[Haha this picture reminds me of that beef jerky commercial with Sasquatch, haha how he's always lingering in the back of the picture lol I don't know why it does but it does haha I got a good laugh viewing this picture!]

while Blake made the dinner I played with the fire. it's just something I do. While we waited for our dinner to cook, I made Blake take some pictures with me, sorry they're blurry I couldn't get my camera to focus right :(

Our dinner was great! Although I burned mine it was okay because Blake made an extra one! they consisted of carrots, onions, potatoes, hamburger meat and some cream of chicken! they were delish!!

After dinner Blake and I watched the fire die out as we talked about everything and nothing at the same time. Once the fire was out and I was asleep on his lap, he picked me up carried me to the tent and we called it a night. The next morning we woke up around 8, and Blake made me a WONDERFUL breakfast!! filled with eggs, bacon, and pancakes that I have been craving for a good 3 weeks! It was SO good! We also had fruit and simply raspberry lemonade to drink. After we finished dinner we hung out for a little bit and then we started to clean and pack up!

Haha as Blake was heading to throw the trash away, the box with stale doughnuts was open and they were leaving a trail behind him haha I was laughing so hard! I made him turn around and stop so I could take a picture! There were more down the road not pictured! lol

While at our campsite we saw TONS of deer, squirrels and chipmunks, I got overly excited every time!

After we cleaned and packed up we headed farther up Pinevalley to go for a little hike that ended up being three hours because I was having to much fun haha. The rest of the pictures are of our hike. Altogether our camping trip was a success!! I had such a great time! Sleeping was a little rough but when is it not when you're sleeping on the ground!? Hopefully Blake and I will be spending a lot more of our summer up in the mountains. I enjoy all the quality time and the majestic scenery.
