Summer has arrived!

Well for me it has! For my birthday I got quite a bit of money and I was GONG to put it all towards bills *barf* but Blake told me not to and to buy something for myself! So I went online and looked and looked and looked until I found this,

This stunningly gorgeous and MODEST swimsuit! and guess what else.. it arrived in my mailbox TODAY!! The first thing I did when I saw it was squeel with joy outside, and then I ran inside to squeel some more! It's perfect! It fits my body so well! I was very nervous because since I have a long torso I didn't think it would cover my stomach, but it does! and the material is just so delightful. Here is another plus, the bottoms, are SHORTS so I don't have to skimp around in bottoms that feel like i'm wearing underwear! Although my swimsuit was a little bit spendy it still wasn't TOO bad! I'm very proud of my wonderful find!

Well folks! that's all for now. I have got some deep cleaning to do because Blake and I have inspections on the 15th and I don't know when I'll have time from now to then to clean up. So Saturday is the day! Hopefully it won't take me to long and I'll be able to get back on to post a little bit about what Blake and I have been up to this past week!

Here's a little picture with a story behind it that I thought I'd share with all of you before I go. The other day before Blake and I hit the lake I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth when I peered into the tub to see this. I sat there and chuckled to myself while I figured out what it was all about. I walked into the kitchen to have a little conversation with Blake and this is how it went...

Me: “Babe, what are your swim trunks doing in the tub, filled with water?” Blake: “Oh! Nothin’ I’m just washing them.” Me: “Isn’t that what the washer is for?” Blake: “Yeah, but No. I’m better and faster. And I need them now.” As I follow him into the bathroom, he kneels down pours some of my shampoo and laundry detergent into his hand and starts scrubbing the dirt of his shorts. Me: “Oh. Cool.” Kathy exits stage left. Haha I about died! So while he was in the garage and before he could take them out I ran into the bathroom and snapped a quick pic! This was one of those priceless moments in my life so I thought I’d share with all of you! Enjoy!
