Welcome

It's great being able to wake up next to the one you love and know that they are yours forever. It's great to be able to go through life and make memories with that significant other and all the loved ones around you. I'm glad to be able to have such a blessed life and hopefully I'll be able to share all those wonderful memories with all of you. Enjoy!

Pillows

I've been sick for the past couple of days and today I decided it would be best if I just stayed down and not wear myself out. At first it sounded like a great idea, but then after 20 minutes I started to feel restless so I decided to blog a bit to push away boredom. I have quite a bit to catch up on so might as well do start now right?? Get ready... My goal is to finish the last half of the 30 day challenge I started more than 30 days ago, to finish posting about my trip to California and to catch up on little adventures here and there before I go to bed today! So... Lets begin!!
Last month I worked on a little project to try and brighten up our family room. Blake and I bought some fabric a while back to reupholster some chairs with.
The chairs ended up sitting in our garage and the fabric was in our hall closet forgotten. One day I was putting the towels away when I noticed the fabric and decided something needed to be done with it. I pulled it out of the closet and then it sat on our couch for another week before I finally decided to turn it into some pillowcases!
I LOVE how they turned out! Even better news?? Blake said they even look like pillowcases that you would buy from the store! Yes! I have yet to take a picture of them on my couch because they look funny with our red leather couches lol but I will take a picture eventually!
What do you think?? Lookin good??

It's about time! [[part one]]

California!
It's about time! I'm finally going to write all about my trip to California! It's 1 a.m. and I just cannot sleep. I've already done all of the dishes, cleaned my kitchen, my family room and I've even folded some clean towels that have been starring at me from the couch for quite awhile now. There's not much more I can clean tonight so I figured I'd blog and catch up on some things until I start to get sleepy. Let's start with Cali shall we??
Ok... Lets Begin...

Blake and I went to California with his family October 1-8th and we did quite a bit! I don't remember the order so I'm just going to upload pictures in the order they are saved to my computer :) Get ready for a picture overload!

We went to Dana Point one evening to go walk around and eat some food. Once Eric and Kaden were on the pier and saw all the boats they started saying, "Look! Pirate Ships!" Lol It was a blast walking around and looking at all the boats. It was a bit chilly so we were all bundled up.
Isn't this blue eyed baby gorgeous?! Oh how I adore her!
She looks so grown up in this picture. And then you see this...
Hmm... lol
Brothers and a Husband. It's Cool.
My Gorgeous sisters!

Writing captions for all the pictures is going to take to long haha so I'm just going to post them :) Next...
Disneyland!!
The First little while we were there the weather was pretty good, but it didn't last long. Eventually we were all huddled in buildings sipping hot chocolate and waiting for the rain to calm. Amber, Matt and the kids took off early because we all know sick kids isn't good. After that Marc, Brenna, Blake and I took off to California Adventures and rode some of the 'big kid' rides lol. Around 8:00 the World of Colors show started and we met up with Scott and Lynell and enjoyed the wonderful presentation! It was amazing and I won't lie... I got teary eyed at some parts. Over all it was a WONDERFUL day at disneyland!
Yupp... That would be Blakes head intruding in my pictures as usual lol

This next picture Brenna took and it was supposed to be of Blake and I but somehow that's not how it turned out lol

Well Folks! That's all for now, I have a few more pictures to post and I'll get to those tonight! But for now I'm gonna go watch The Christmas Carol with my family! Have a great night!!

Oh my Husband is AAAAA-MAZING!!

I'm Back!!!!
Life has been pretty hectic here at the Thompson household. Lots of coming and going and very little sitting and staying. Work has been awesome for both Blake and I. I am currently in the middle of painting Bellas room with her a turquoise blue with brown polka dots and strips. It's turning out brilliantly (pictures will be posted soon). Blake has been having pretty consistent work with Grandad which is a big blessing and we have both been enjoying our job together at night. But with my new job and our new job life has been pretty pretty busy. Now, now I am not complaining but it's pretty nice to get some "down time". Our internet, or should I say our neighbors internet has been down for the past couple weeks. (They gave us the password and have been letting us mooch off of theirs for the past 6 or 7 months. AWESOME. Talk about serious cookies and treats being sent over from the Thompson crew lol) But lately it's been down (lame broken router. Boo.), so I haven't had any internet to blog. Besides from when I go and make base at the library for a couple hours but in all honesty I'd so rather read at the library than worry about catching up on all that blogging I've missed,EEK! The whole internet being down hasn't been TOO big of deal for me since I have been working almost everyday (except Sundays and Mondays) So I don't have to much time to get on the internet anyway. But, seriously, not blogging has really bummed me out. I love blogging mainly because it's like a personal journal. I love actually recording all the fun events that are happening in our lives. Blogging is also some sort or stress reliever and it's something I look forward to so not being able to has put a tiny damper on things. So... my sweet sweet Husband turned my phone into a... HOT SPOT!! **squeal!** From now on as long as I have my phone nearby I have FULL wifi on my laptop! Seriously to cool! My internet works way faster then before and I now I not only have internet at home but if I feel like blogging at the park... I can! Anyways, I'm gonna sync my phone now! Hopefully I'll get to blog later! Peace!
